    Ummm no.

If anything upgrade your home theater, bigger tv, surround sound and invite some friends over.
That is going to be pretty hard when he is staying in a hotel on the strip.

Dont give up and whatever you do, DO NOT PAY RESELL FOR CC TICKETS. There will be more spots opening up since all these sold out.

Here, not on sale yet but another chance to get CC tix, and its at the Aria.

Try to buy the closed circuit tickets SOLD OUT...
Im going to Vegas with my girlfriend and am this Sunday, are there any other alternatives to watch the fight on the strip? Im not trying to stay inside the hotel and watch the fight lol.
If anyone knows info help a kid out!
Aria posted new tickets on Ticketmaster - not available yet but should be going on sale soon. I'm sure other ballrooms will open up for sale over the next few days and from what I can tell Mandalay Bay hasn't even made their 12,000+ seat Events Center arena available yet (which they've used for previous closed circuits) so that could become an option as well.

Circus Circus told me they'll be making 450 closed circuit tickets available Sunday morning after 8 am. First come first serve and you have to buy in person.

There are bars on or near the Strip that will be showing the fight including:

Blondie's (inside Miracle Mile mall adjacent to Planet Hollywood): $200/head which includes unlimited domestic beer.

Miller's Ale House (Town Square shopping center not too far from Strip): $100/head

        Twin Peaks

I don't think Blondie's is going to get to show this one.

I looked into Ale House. They told me $100 gets a reserved seat. Also called Twin Peaks. $20/person, but it's first come first served. They are opening at 9am. You'll have to get there early.

why would you pay all that money just to watch it on tv? you can do it at home for cheaper and without being around a room full of people you don't know

I don't understand why people keep saying this.

                1) It's Las Vegas.

                2) People go to Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. for UFC, NFL, etc. Sometimes it's just fun to go out.

                3) It's Las Fucking Vegas.

I called Blondie's yesterday and they said they were planning on showing it (even quoting me the prices I gave in my previous post) so unless they are barred from showing it I guess that's their plan. Pretty sure they were able to show the Mayweather/Canelo fight without issues...

Yeah, that's why I'm not sure if they are or not. I actually watched the Canelo fight at Blondie's (it was $100/person - free beer) and it was really cool. It was my understanding that no on-strip bar/casino would be allowed. They even shut down the downtown casinos, I believe.

I'm gonna be pissed if they're showing it this time. I didn't even bother calling them.

It's my understanding that it's the non-MGM *casinos* and *hotels* (e.g., Caesar's Entertainment hotel casinos) that are barred from showing the fight and that the ban is effective for all of Clark County, not just the Strip. That's why they won't show the fight/have fight parties at any of the downtown casinos or any of the Station casinos like Red Rock off the Strip. But I don't get why people are acting like this is something new - this barring has been common practice for big PPV fights at MGM for at least a few years now.

But it's also my understanding that standalone bars (like Blondie's) not located in casino hotels can't be barred from showing the fight - even the bars on the Strip. That's why Blondie's has been able to show PPV fights in the past without issue.

I could certainly be mistaken about some of this but the above is my understanding and I think it's correct...
