In what era did making boxing contracts become so complex?

Presently, things like who comes into the ring first, what color/brand gloves can be worn, who gets announced 2nd, & what size ring etc are such a big deal. The whole A-side/B-side thing is really annoying, personally I think the champ should always come out second and be announced second, gloves should be standard, there should be no such thing as punchers gloves or pillow gloves, its ridiculous & ring size should be standard (IMO the typical ring used in Vegas is a little to big) but regardless theres this is just the tip of the iceberg. Networks and advertisers make things even more complicated but as for the boxers themselves, athletic commissions should make standards.

So my question is, what era or what boxer/promotor/manager can we blame for making a simple contract so complex???

The same reason tax codification is so intentionally complex. It creates a need for things such as accountants, lawyers, etc...
