Spanish super lightweight veteran Ignacio Mendoza (40-10-2) defends the national title on June 5 in Madrid against undefeated prospect Nicolas Gonzales (12-0) on a Maravillabox / Tundra co-promotion. Mendoza comes in off a good win in Canada this past weekend when he knocked out prospect David Theroux in the seventh and is a dangerous puncher with a somewhat fragile chin.
