Chavez Jr was never that skilled in the first place. Please name one great boxing attribute he has? He's not fast, doesn't throw great combinations, he doesn't have good defense, etc ect. And he has terrible work ethics. Has gone through trainers like skittles. All the people close to him say he's lazy. He famously blew off his hall of fame trainer on 24/7 before the biggest fight of his career so he could instead walk around the house in his under wear.

His career was nothing more then a sham. Put in fights against smaller fighters. Once he stepped up in competition got dominated by Sergio. Once he stepped up in weight and fought average fighters his own size got dominated and sent to the hospital after quiting on his stool. He is just not that good a fighter and he's lazy and entitled which only make it worse.

Didn't Chavez have more fights than Randell and was older plus Randell was cheating using EPO IN THE first and SECOND FIGHT Chavez was ahead at the time of the cut why should he continue with a big gash Randell caused by head butting him. By the way Chavez was no longer in his prime when he fought EPO cheating Randell he had what 89 fight already how is it Randell gets knock out and he's wash up but Chavez already has 100 fights and is like 100 years old and he's in his prime according to your frame of mind you idiot

Disappointing in JR, but he could bounce back.

He looks to small vs Fonfara, should get his diet right and move down, he has to decide if he wants to be a boxer, with all the sacrifice that comes with it, or be prepare to take another loss.

Chavez Sr. had 104 fights and was almost 37 yr. old when he fought Oscar in the WW division. Besides DLH was bigger and really good being a solid P4P champion (and undefeated) and Oscar also had a frame that allowed him climbing up 2 more divisions. Let's not forget also that Chavez Sr. lost by split division against Randall after being deducted 2 points, meaning that JCC could have escaped with a decision with a referee less strict or more tolerant (and we have seen many of them in recent times). Losing in a very close fight for first time around your 90th professional bout is quite an accomplishment.
