canelo lara difference vs mayweather

i dont get why ppl are saying lara is slick in the fight vs canelo.
he barely threw and only landed so few punches.
sure he did avoid a lot of punches from canelo, BUT did he CAPITALIZE on it??? nooooooooooooooooo. did he take good advantage of his reach like mayweather did? noooooooooo.

all lara did was avoid getting hit (defense? i dont think so) by moving out of range, out of his own range.
and occasionally pot shot.
well deserved defeat.

(im just mad coz i just spent some time rewatching the damn fight, reading youtube comments on how lara was robbed because hes so ****ing slick yada yada blah blah)

Good observation the object is to hit and not get hit, I think Lara forgot the “to hit part.”

I had money on Lara and obviously wanted him to win, but I thought he lost that fight. Don't see the debate. Like you sao d he didn't let his hands go enough because he would land a nice one two, then literally not throw any more punches for 30-60 seconds, rather than following up. Meanwhile Canelo would put in a lot of body shots, they were thudding shots you could hear. Lara probably could have won if he did more, but than again who knows because if he did throw more that leaves him open. He seemed bothered by a number of Canelo punches (another reason I laugh at people who say he could move up in weight and beat GGG but that's another topic).
