Pacquiao is going to be Pacquiao no matter what. If Roach or him could change anything they would have during the Marquez fights. Marquez changed his fight game but Manny didn't and couldn't. He is not capable of adjusting on the fly and if he can't out think Mayweather he won't beat him.

You know Pacman was beating the ish out of JMM in their last fight. People PRETEND they don't know Manny was winning on ALL 3 judges score cards before the KO. Manny was beating the crap out of JMM. Let's be honest, Manny tripped over JMM left foot as the perfect punch was being thrown. Yes he KO Manny but thats all he had... A punchers chance. Manny will win this fight on May 2nd.

That is not a very good comparison, Algieri and Mayweather are two very different fighters. Algieri does not have nearly the defense capabilities that Mayweather has just because he moves around a lot, not to mention that Floyd has been in there with champions, while Algeri was pretty untested before Pac.

Not talking about defense or what kind of fighter they are, I'm talking about movement so in this case, it is worth bringing up since Diaz mentioned that Pacquaio's opponent has to "come to him".

I wouldn't go so far as to call Canelo the "best" JMW because I think it's pretty debatable between him and Lara. Plus, he needs more significant wins.

I am having a similar conversation on another thread, about Lucian Bute.

Obviously you cannot compare Pac with Bute, but the principle is the same.

How the fakk could Bute have possibly been adequately prepared for Froch (who was a battle-hardened vet when they fought) let alone be adequately prepared for Andre Ward (who is a level above Froch), by fighting Montreal cabbies?

Mayweather is at least a level above Bradley, but he is from a different planet than Rios/Algieri.

Yes. Theyre both Maulers. Only Pacquiao is stronger, faster more powerful and can box when he wants to. So it has everything to do with this fight.
