Damn, they were only gonna be paid $25 million each back in 2010 to fight each other. Now Floyd is going to be paid $180 million while Pac gets paid $120 million.

    Timing, indeed.
Earlier this year, Mayweather said Pac was going to get less than 40 million. LMAO I guess Les Moonves stepped in and put up the other 80 mil for Manny's side.

Why is the number more relevant than the refusing a drugs test , thats the meat in the sandwich of that comment , your comprehension of what is important is misguided .

even if it's true he shouldn't have said that because he hasn't been there. I doubt if he can even spell the "Philippines"

Floyd's insightful perspective on geopolitics in the APAC region is (as always) articulate and balanced.

The situation is fcked up because of the dirty politics and internal wars that constantly add fuel to the fire.

I mean, 44 Special Armed Forces officers were killed over miscommunication, corruption and incompetence a few months back. What does the president do? A forced apology and condolences to bandaid the situation.

Pork barrel scandals, political dynasties with the Binays raping Makati and the vice president being one of the accused, NPA, MILF/BIFF, etc etc... Although I doubt Floyd has any idea of how seriously dire the situation is in he PI, his assumption is not too far off.

Sadly, the poor Filipino men, women and children constantly get shafted... Yet they deserve so much better. I hope things change for them soon, there are some great folks amongst the pile of greed and corruption.

FLoyd: "It's f'd up over there in The Philippines! It's not what I represent!"

Then Floyd starts wearing TMT t-shirts with his image glorifying the Filipino flag on his media day for the Pacquiao fight and tells the radio stations, "The Philippines just using my name to help them sell some sushi and coconuts"
