Nah. He's another tactical, boring black boxer who doesn't excite the casual fans. They come a dime a dozen.

It is past time to put Crawford in the ring with an A-level fighter in his own weight division to see what he is made of. His next fight should be against Bradley, Rios, Matthysse, JMM or another fighter of that level. Unfortunately, Arum will follow his usual MO and find another C-level fighter to put in the ring against Crawford.Comment

I not quite sold on this guy yet . I had him losing every dam round up until his 6th round KO . He's just too mercurial for me , and waits too long to engage. how long can this strategy really be effective ? The way he gives away rounds he MUST score a KO or lose more than likely . But then again after I witnessed him not land a single punch in rd 5 and the commentator stated it was a close round but he gave it to CRAWFORD , I now don't know anymore . He seems indemnified by being Bobs new meteoric project .Comment

Hometowns have better crowds, but they can usually charge the gamblers more for tickets.
It's extremely impressive that Crawford could do crowds of 10,000 twice in Omaha, but it might also be good for him if he can establish himself in Vegas.Comment

He's a great talent and I wish him well, but he isn't particularly exciting (sorry) and he has virtually no personality. You can't reinvent a guy like that to be a huge attraction. Lots of guys win and win and win and can't draw flies. Bradley could be unbeaten right now against the same opposition and nobody would care. He tried to be the bad mouthing guy against Manny and Marquez. Nobody cared. Look at Ward even before he became a part-time boxer. Respected, but not a draw.Comment

Bob's a great promoter, but he doesn't know how to promote black fighters. He just can't pander to the audience the same. You can play the hometown hero role with Terence becaus ehe's from a state with nothing but corn, but to get fans outside of that, I don't think Bob knows how to do it.Comment
