I've only seen Bayless "favor" Floyd once, and that was the Maidana rematch. And that's because Maidana blatantly, intentionally fouled in the first fight. When you establish yourself as a dirty fighter, those things can happen.

Neither Floyd nor Manny are dirty fighters. The holding and using elbows to create space are a part of boxing. Most fighters do lil things that bend the rules. There's a difference between bending the rules for a competitive advantage and intentionally fouling with the intent of hurting someone, IMO.

There is also the judges in this equation. It just so happens that Dave Morretti and Bert Clemens gave no credit to Maidana in their fight 1 with Floyd. Because of Clemens manny received a draw instead of a win in a fight with Marquez. Morretti has been the judge for Floyd in 8 of last 10 fights including both Maidana fights which is a joke. Fishy.
