NEW YORK - Wladimir Klitschko will match Joe Louis in boxing's record books with his 27th heavyweight title fight on Saturday and could set more marks since he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

The 39-year-old Ukrainian, speaking to reporters ahead of Saturday's fight against American Bryant Jennings at New York's Madison Square Garden, has dominated the heavyweight division for nearly a decade and shown no signs of slowing down.

"As long as I have motivation and health, I'll do it. I don't feel old, or bad, or slow," said Klitschko, who has 17 successful defences in a row since winning the crown for the second time in 2006.

Klitschko will reign as long as he wants to. None of those younger guys have a chance against him. Anyone who claims otherwise is kidding themselves. I expect another one sided beat down to be inflicted on Jennings. I like both Fury and Wilder, they bring excitement. But neither has the all around skills to beat Wlad.

""I still look up to those guys, they are icons to me"...the difference between him and mayweather who calls himself the best ever and will not be brainwashed into believing ali and robinson were better....klitschko so humble and classy compared to mayweather

          I noticed that too.

Even if he thinks he could beat them, which he's very much entitled to, he doesn't take away from the accomplishments of the fighters who helped him be where he's at.

Mayweather's rant was so pathetic. Especially the part taking away from Ali-Foreman.

Could you imagine Ali asking Foreman to come in at 210 lbs?

Or asking Frazier to wear a certain type of glove.

Hopefully he sticks around for the next wave of credible opposition such as Parker, Joshua,Hughie Fury and Kudryashov before retiring clearing the way for Usyk to reign supreme.

If Klitschko was an American, he would probably be as big as Floyd right now. I guess he might be in Russia. But it kind of sucks how unknown he is outside of boxing circles.

Wilder, Fury, or Andy Ruiz Jr might do that for you.
