Newly crowned WBO super lightweight champion Terence Crawford (26-0) took a few rounds to get warmed up during his 6th round TKO victory over Thomas Dulorme this past Saturday night. Once he did get warmed up, he dropped Dulorme three times. A big right hand sent Dulorme to the canvas early in the sixth and he was never able to recover.

After the fight Crawford said that he never goes into a fight planning on knocking out his opponent but felt that fans and insiders alike underestimated his power.

Crawford has got little power. Knocking out a chinny, blown up featherweight who's half your size and a chinny C level Dulorme doesn't mean you've got power.

Crawford is a serious threat. I watched an interview following his performance where he stated that his corner instructed him to mask his power. And slowly, as the fight picked up, to increase it and begin throwing harder shots. Mix his in ring IQ with his killer instinct, and his educated jab behind his fighter's heart willing to trade bombs, and you have a very versatile fighter in Bud.

Exactly, when you start doing this to guys with sturdier chins who you don't outweigh, then you can start talking...

Also, he needs to speed up the "six rounds to adjust while going back in a straight line with your hands down taking shots". If he does that **** with a stronger, sturdier better fighter, he won't even see round 6.
