To be fair though, Briggs suffered a serious injury to his arm and was fighting like 9 or 10 rounds with only one arm. Vitali won, but he never knocked Briggs down.

If you compare photos, Briggs does in fact appear to be in better physical condition now than he was 5 years ago. It doesn't mean he can beat Wlad, but I feel he deserves one last shot at glory.

yeah it's gotten old now briggs needs to leverage the attention into a couple paydays against tarver or as a "warmup" for haye or something
