Let's face it, Latinos are the biggest fan base in all of boxing. In that group Mexicans are the biggest group. So of course a Mexican star is going to get a lot of numbers, and be a huge draw.

People don't know this but Chavez Jr was the 4th biggest draw in boxing over even Cotto. Canelo vs Cotto is going to do huge numbers if Canelo can get past Kirkland.

canelo has the right mind set of wanting to be a huge draw but unfortunately i dont think canelo will ever reach floyd/pac status. outside of the mexican and boxing fans aint nobody even know who canelo is. floyd and pac is a name u can go to a different state/country and they'll most likely know who ur talking about.
