  • Comments Thread For: Steve Cunningham Inks Pact With Al Haymon

Philadelphia--Former two-time world cruiserweight champion and current Heavyweight contender, Steve "USS" Cunningham has signed with adviser Al Haymon.

Cunningham of Philadelphia is excited about the prospects for his future.

"I'm looking forward to working with Al, he's a genius at what he does. I've been watching him for several years and seeing all that he accomplishes for his fighters but have always been on the outside looking in due to contractual obligations. It finally lined up to where we can work together and it's going to great. I believe my best fights have yet to be seen,"said Cunningham

Duva kept screwing Cunningham. What she did to him is atrocious. Now he can go to a team that will look out for his best interests, run by the most honest person in boxing, Al Haymon

            Could be.

            Or Arreola-Cunningham or Szpilka-Cunningham.

Now I'm no Haymon supporter, but I like this. Cunningham will get paid, which he certainly deserves. It just ducks he didn't have him sooner. He probably wouldn't have been screwed.
