Nobody Disgraces the Sport More Than........

Meh. It is what it is. Fans can be disrespectful but they pay the fighters bills. You think Adrien Broner cares about a few beer cans when he walked out of the arena with a million dollar paycheck? Professional athletes in general are subject to criticism. Lebron, Tom Brady and whoever else go through the same thing.Comment

Fighters who show the sport of boxing no respect like Chavez Jr. don't deserve our respect in return.Comment

He's a spoiled brat who needed to get his ass kicked.Comment

By showing no regard for weight classes, doping, and building his name atop his father's while beating on guys he outweighed by 30 pounds. Then when he gets his ass kicked, he had the nerve to complain about the size being too much.
He's a spoiled brat who needed to get his ass kicked.
So what you are saying is that you don't approve of his weight gains or loses and that you don't understand that Chavez sr neither gave nor took any blows in any of Jrs victories, Jr did the work no matter how he was matched up or however you want to spin it. Were any rules broken during these travesties?
Did you at least approve of the color scheme that he chose for his fight night outfit?Last edited by Rockin'; 04-21-2015, 09:34 AM.Comment

Since when are you the authority on who and what disgraces the sport? If there is anything that disgraces the sport it's things that really matter like: bad judging, biased ref's, PED's, failure to make wright, unprofessional conduct, blatant ducking.
What is said here is fan commentary and shouldn't be taken too seriously. There is no Michael Katz here. There are no serious, researched, well written criticisms or commentary here. Despite what some may think of their posts.
This is a forum for fans to be vocal. So you have to take the good with the bad. Some are better than others. Some are clearly ignorant but if you don't like it, well that's too bad. Just log off. But fans being vocal in any manner is Not what"disgraces" the sport most. You clearly feel you have some greater connection to it than others, but guess what, you don't.Comment

Well personally if I was a fighter I would 100 percent do everything for money and not give a damn what the fans thought (through I would pretend to for financial reasons)...I would also never take any unnecessary risks in the ring and never press for the knockout if it wasn't there....I would not give a single **** about any of the fans...But I'm sure 99.9999 percent of boxers are like this anyway they just pretend they aren't.....
The internet is a safe haven for racist coward bums so I'm not surprised boxing fans are so bad (a heavy racially tinged sport)....
I applaud what Mayweather has done (make a **** ton of money and not care about the fans) and I applaud Adonis for signing for Haymon which was obviously the smart financial decision to make...The fact that Adonis signed for himself and said **** you to all the fans makes me like him 10x's more...Last edited by animalfan10; 04-21-2015, 09:47 AM.Comment
