He needs to do that, try and make Floyd defensive and not punching, stretch out those defensive lulls. He has to navigate Floyd somehow away from center ring, give him no time to think.....its going to be hard to do but its possible.

Come in throw 2-3 punches and turn Floyd and lets see how he can adjust to that

Trying to do that could possibly get Pacquiao knocked out again. Floyd is chopping wood so you know he has worked on his power.

It could but playing it cautious in the center of the ring boxing seems to me to be a good way of giving Floyd an easy UD since Floyd is more accurate, has better timing, and punch placement.

Manny just has to not lunge in and try to work behind his jab. You can't lunge in on Floyd, even Maidana used his jab to close the distance

It just means pacquiao is going to need a miracle to win the fight. Al Haymon at this point has an edge over Bob Arum. A while back, it would have been the other way around, But Al Haymon is the most powerful figure in the sport of boxing that isn't a fighter.

No, it just means he is going to have to take some risks and push a pace making Floyd fight when he doesn't want to. He may pay for some of those risks but Floyd has some tendencies that can be exploited like a low work rate and stretches in rds where he is in defense mode not doing much offensively.

Maidana's reach is longer than Pacquiao's. Pacquiao is a better fighter than Maidana but there is a difference in reach. Mayweather 72 inch has a 5 inch Reach advantage on Pacquiao 67 inch. Mayweather had a 3 inch reach advantage on Maidana 69 inch.

It will be Mayweather coming out strong from round 1, look for an explosive first round. Mayweather will land the first telling blows and Manny will get wild....
