I think he's legit, but he needs to start fighting guys like Porter, Khan, Garcia, Brook, ect. to prove he's elite.

I thought he was a hype job but after the Guerrero beating I think he's pretty good.

I want to see him against Maidana next.

The thing with Thurman is that his best wins are Chaves and Guerrero who are both good, but not great fighters. With this being the case I'll reserve judgement on him until I see him in the ring with any of Brook, Khan, May, Pac, Maidana or Porter.

I always say to never judge a fighter by what he does well. Alot of these upcoming prospects always look fast, strong or powerful when facing bums. Look at how they react when they face adversity. A cut, getting caught with a good shot, or maybe losing some early rounds. If they adjust, show the will to win, and pull out a victory THAT'S when they are legitimized. Thurman has done that and more.

Keith could be fighting Porter next. That's a great, evenly matched fight.

I think he could be the real deal but he still has to step up a level. I think right now someone like Mayweather would just have too much experience and handle him.

Thurman v Brook would be a very good fight. Different styles and Brook has some good timing and if he could land that chocolate brownie right hand on Thurman coming in, it could make it an interesting fight. I think both guys could be legit but then people were saying that about Berto at one point. Both still have something to prove before they can be called an top level fighter.
