Provodnikov vs Maidana?

Just thought of that, that would be another freaking WAR.
It would have to be next year though, Provo took a lot of damage in this fight.
Who do you see winning that fight?

Provodnikov has the worst defence of any top level fighter in the sport. Maidana would be the biggest puncher he's faced and is as/or bigger and stronger. Cracking fight while it lasts but i can't see Provodnikov walking through Maidana's punches like he did Matthysse's.

It would be a war and for all the power and heart Provo carries, he isn't busy enough and drops his hands way too often. Maidana would win a tough, rough fight.

Provo is too small at 147 against a big strong guy like Bertro, even if Berto is edging towards the end.

It would be more competitive and closer than Matthysse vs Provodnikov for sure. Maidana can't box so he would war with Provodnikov, also he can be hurt upstairs and downstairs. It's a real 50-50 fight.

provo chino would be more of a war than lucas provo because of chino's style. chino won't box like lucas, i'd go with chino but anything can happen there

Corley and Alexander both said Matthysse hits harder than Maidana.

I think Matthysse hits harder than Maidana as well. He throws cleaner, more precise, straighter punches.

I think prov wears chino down and stop him late. maidana doesn't have matthyse's cardio and matthyse was looking tired as hell in the championship rounds.

Maidana would have to throw a lot of punches to keep prov off him and he will be dead tired late rounds. Prov late TKO. Prov is a different animal. I've never seen matthyse get backed up to the ropes like that.
