Chavez wasn't a KO puncher at 160. He wore guys down and stopped them. I wouldn't expect him to stop anyone with at least a decent chin above 160.

He did not have the size advantage like he had over guys like Andy Lee and Brandon Vera and that was the difference. Fonfara whipped him inside where Chavez usually lean on and outworks his opponents. Fonfara would back him up every time and once he couldn't win the inside battle, he really did not know what to do.

The man lacks discipline and in boxing if you don't have that Discipline it is hard to achieve greatness.

The WBC and the rest of the boxing world BABY this man, they let him do what he wants because of who his father is. He doesn't even have to make weight for a Division or anything but yet WBC allow him to fight for their Belts

Lets hope Provodnikov is not ****** racist & anti-semic as Mr. withdraw Kovalev is.
It's a shame for this sport, because Kovalev was surfing over a surreal wave of admiration, since Stevenson signed a better deal with Showtime. But in fact, Kovalev signed his deal with HBO (AFTER) Stevenson went to Showtime, I didn't say before, I said Kovalev signed AFTER.
And now that Haymon manage to open more options for all boxers, Kovalev re-signed another contract with HBO (AFTER) his victory over Jean Pascal, which clearly show how team Kovalev were bluffing all along about Stevenson. Kovalev is now playing the Jean Pascal game, by attempting to convince his fans that Stevenson doesn't want to fight him even when he mocks Stevenson, when in facts, he & Kathy Duva are the ones running together in the opposite direction.

I wonder what John David Jackson think about this fraud.

Goosen is a joke Hollywood trainer. Only useful thing he told him was to stop looking to the ref for help.

Joe Goosen is a terrible trainer. All of his fighters are punching bags. It's rare to hear a trainer say "I want to train this fighter" like Robert Garcia said about Chavez JR. The only thing that Goosen did was add muscle to Chavez, but as a professional he should have been able to tell that he had no pop at that weight. Regardless, Chavez should fight more often and stop with the lay offs. He needs to take it serious because getting punched like that does a lot to ur mental health. Either protect yourself or hang them up.
