Did Rid**** Bowe's brain damage defense work?

I read on anothe forum that Bowe's brain damamge defense worked and that jury or judge bought it. He had experts testify to it, is this true - did it effect the trial outcome acording to the jury or judege, anyone follow his trials , please post..............

Who says he wasn't brain-damaged before the ever entered a ring? I've seen some specials with very old sluggers on TV lately, and none of them appeared to be brain-damaged in spite of taking hundreds of hard punches to the head.

well it affects different ppl differently. a good example is george foreman and he's fine but if you take a look at the punches he's taken most of them were on top of his head, hardest part of the body. rather than the chin.

I know of a journymen heavyweight fighter who has slowed down a bit mentally. I asked him about it once and he told me "You know boxing can make ya punchy no doubt - But I dont think many fighters were to bright to begin with."

I remeber seeing some interviews of Bowe years back, then lately. It looks to me that the boy lost some smarts somewhere down the road.

it was definately the golata fights that did it to him, if you watch those fights especially the 2nd bowe really took a horrendous beating,
