Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford: I Feel Very Strong at 140-Pounds

Arlington, Texas - Terence Crawford (26-0, 18KOs) became a two-division world champion with a sixth round knockout of Thomas Dulorme (22-2, 14KOs) to capture the vacant WBO junior welterweight championship. The belt became vacant last November after the sanctioning body stripped Chris Algieri for moving up in weight to challenge Manny Pacquiao for his WBO welterweight title.

Crawford closed the show in the sixth, hurting Dulorme with a two punch combination and then scoring three knockdowns before the fight was waved off. The official time of the stoppage was 1:51 of the sixth round.

TC exceeded my expectations. i am impressed. i swear i dont see any fighter beating him @ 140 danny garcia, broner, mikey garcia(stands the best chance i think), matthyssee, peterson or pacquiao since he's been at that weight for the last couple fights and he's really a 140lber
TC not alvarez, broner, garcia etc has a brighter future than all of them

Garcia, D. would be no match for TC. Bring on Matthyse!

SMH @ Roy Jones jr's biased commentating during the Crawford vs Dulorme fight.

Roy = ATG fighter and way better than SR Leonard but

SR Leonard= ATG Commentator and way better than Roy Jones jr

Anybody recall the MA Barrera vs Kennedy McKinney pre fight press conference when McKinney was all up in Barrera's face talking **** and then when Barrera smacked the **** out McKinney, Roy says something like "Oh, Barrera just snuck McKinney". B*tch when you're all up in somebody's face talking mess and get the snot smacked outa you it should be expected, it's not a sucker punch. **** you talm 'bout? SMH............

That quote by Baba John Henrik Clarke is wrong. Africans are people of the jungle, Native Americans are the ones who are the people of the Sun. As a matter of fact, the Aztecs were called just that, "The people of the Sun".

One of the few times I got it right. Never thought Dulorme would be sturdy enough to deal with a full fight vs Crawford. I don't know if he'll hold the title for as long as he wants to, but Terence is definitely a solid fighter who will be a tough out for anyone. I do think he beats Prov or Lucas just for his boxing ability... although Mattysse is developing a good solid jab. But Crawford will beat Garcia, would probably stop Bonehead, probably would be a tough one vs Peterson IF the same Peterson who fought Danny shows up. Maybe Pac would be a tougher test than he could handle. Rambling here, but great fight.

Seems to me Roy was correct last night because Crawford was calm and poised and when told to step it up he did and stopped his challenger. His vision is based on boxing knowledge and hes up close and understand following a gameplan.
IF YOU EVER WATCH FLOYD versus Judah or Hatton after the first 4-6 rounds the fight is over after the fighter is figured out or energy is burned off. Props to Crawford and good analysis from ROY.
