I have to give Matthysse props, he won fair and square. I thought he won by a round or so. Ruslan has to be the most frustrating fighter I've ever seen, he smothers his own punches and barely threw anything the entire fight. Hurts Matthysse and stops throwing. He has a great chin but man is he amateurish in every other aspect of boxing.
While I don't think Lucas is a machine, he was fortunate to fight a guy who was looking at him most of the fight, he did what he had to do, and threw some vicious shots in the first half of the fight. He's great for boxing and he's certainly not the reason why this fight wasn't as epic as it should have been, he did his part.
I'll pay my points of course from the bet I made.
