Herrera really damaged Danny's reputation. Coming off that high from his performance over Matthysse, Herrera reminded everyone that Danny is an ordinary fighter. Luckily for Danny the fight was in Puerto Rico and he had the judges behind him.

Sugar Lamont Peterson isn't beating anyone but himself bro. Danny beat him clearly by 1rd (or 2) because Lamont was scared of a guy with average (at best) power. Herrera isn't the best boxer but neither is Lamont but fighting on the inside favors Hererra no matter what, lamont has no power, he couldn't even shake up Khan. Sugar Lamont's best chance against a guy like Herrera is to stick & move not just move.

Oh & top rank > PBC. More competitive fights...

Very true, I also think old Morales showed Danny couldn't slip a stiff jab if his life depended on it. 2 bad Sugar Lamont Peterson was to scary to throw a jab the 1st 6rds or he woulda won.

in a way he deserved nobody gave him credit for his biggest wins..it was alway luck...and nobody gave him nothing on the way up like khan at 140 or guys who was always the favorite..danny had to beat something like a legend in morales first..that was his first actual bad fight..i gave him a break..then he went on to fight peterson like he should have..so we'll see how it goes from here i want a peterson rematch

Absolutely. Herrera exposed and defeated Garcia (in a fight who was supposed to be an easy tune-up for his "homecoming") and made him lose so much confidence that the Philly native had to get an easy ridicule fight against Rod Salka. And then a week ago there was also the fiasco against Peterson to make things even worse. I guess Garcia run out of lock or maybe his victories against Khan (which he was losing before the KD) and Mathysse were only fluke.

STFU.. lamont is the best inside fighter at 140 going from defense to offense he chops the ring down well every since his bradley loss..and he switch from boxer to ****er quick..power is not every damn thing fool..and he did hurt khan to the body all night long..and he hurt danny to the body as well..herrera couldnt do it he just worked a lot and got hit a lot as well...lamont didn land mayweather like shots on the move but he landed a lot of jabs a nd kept danny miss while landing a few power shots enough to win early rounds in gmajority of boxing fans book..WE SAW WHO THE OVERALL BETTER FIGHTER WAS NO DOUBT..
