I'm tempted to put some money on Ruslan. I think Matthysse is better in almost every area but I just don't think his chin can withstand the pressure Provodnikov brings for 12 rounds. I think Matthysse gets stopped.

So by your logic, if A fighter doesn't poses caveman power like Provodnikov to drop your opponents your not deserving a a fight with a high profile fighter. That's kinda dumb don't you think? The man definitely has a right to think he deserves either fight. The guy fights anybody and doesn't duck no one. He already beat Provodnikov so why not give that limited fighter a rematch. Everyone knows he beat the so called LWW Champ Danny Garcia and Benavides but got robbed both times. So arguably he should be the true champ at LWW and deserving of a fight with either guy.

Provo is explosive when he comes forward, but only does it in spurs. That's the only danger I see for Matthysse. But once Lucas lands a good punch I don't think Provodnikov is going to be as willing to let go his hands so freely and Lucas is going to start beating him up. I still don't trust Provodnikov's stamina either and that's just going to hurt him once Lucas gets warmed up and going. Fck I can't wait
