That was the fight where Manny moved up to 130, didn't wear his gloves and gave blood just before the fight. Also was bleeding in that one. Still, Morales is a good fighter. There is no shame in losing 1 of 3 fights to Morales or 1 of 4 to Marquez. With Manny's style, I'm surprised it didn't happen more often. It's part of what made him exciting and fun to watch.

As for the other 2, its too far back. Manny was learning on the job. He didn't have the opportunities that Floyd had. That's like saying that Floyd should have 7 losses because we should count his amateur fights as well.

Hopefully this won't be one of the excuses when Floyd beats him. Also, many people think Pac is 0-4 against Marquez. I'm not one of those. I think Pac won the first fight (officially, it was a draw, not 1 of 4 for Pac as you say). The verdict for neutral people is Marquez is the better fighter.

Manny had a hundred thousand excuses for the Morales fight though. Didn't get the gloves he wanted, wore the wrong socks, blood drawn too close to the fight.

The commission losing his blood sample was BS, but the A-side pick the B-sides gloves everyday in boxing. If he had enough time to train in them that's no excuse. And the socks were irritating? No comment.

Well, what you are saying may well be true.

When Pac was coming up and fighting Barrera and Morales and guys like that, I was the biggest fan of his. I never suspected anything wrong and he could have been natural. But, the Cotto fight changed everything for me, as many people around the world had also suspected. I thought that was not normal, considering that I was following Pac for so long.

By the way, I won't be surprised if all boxers are juicing or using some expensive supplements.
