The era of Roman Gonzalez as the P4P King begins. At the age of 27 this man Like Mayweather lives and breaths Boxing. He is perfection in the ring a 42 - 0
I have no doubt that he will go above an beyond the records. There is not a man alive who can stop him.
No way Gonzalez gets through Juan Francisco Estrada, Naoya Inoue, Zolani Tete, Amnat Ruenrueng, Carlos Cuadras, Takuma Inoue, Pedro Guevara, Donnie Nietes, and David Sanchez without suffering a couple of losses. Unless of course he adopts the Mayweather method of letting all of the threats eliminate each other while he cherry picks.

Nah, he'll just stick to fighting over the hill fighters and relatively unknown prospects while his brain dead, bandwagon fans gobble it up . Then, if lucky, he can claim fame off of one of the relatively unknown prospect after they prove themselves and or possibly become champions.

By the way, I doubt Roman fans would know more than 2 of the names you mentioned. He a monster doe. He KO'd Valentin and Fuentes doe.

I think Crawford, Lomachenko and GGG may have the best shot at the highly coveted number 1 PFP spot.

Jose Ramirez will get crowned in 2018 by defeating Felix Verdejo in brutal KO fashion and then he will reign p4p#1 for the next decade.

Andre Ward would be the odds on favorite, he already cleaned out the 168 division.
If Kovalev beats Adonis he would have a better recent resume (Ward has sat)
GGG will be in the discussion if he keeps crushing the cans and champs at 160.

Those 3 have the easiest route, anyone at 140-147 has to go thru a deep division (unless they duck), so it would be hard for Crawford (who got out box by Gamboa early and rocked later) to clean out the division with limited power at weight.
Thurman looks good but I still need to see him in with Maidana, Khan or Brook before I'm completely sold, he hasn't faced a legit threat yet, so we don't know if he is the real deal or a Broner/ Berto.

Lomachenko easily, he's the only future legend talent out there right now. Would be shocked if it's anyone else.

Andre Ward has been sitting too long. His past glories happened 5 years ago and no longer figure in his rating. The guy has to start over and build his reputation up from scratch. Right now I rate him no higher than any fighter starting out at SMW.
