Frampton is the A-side not because of the belt but because of his popularity. Rory McIlroy aside, Frampton is the biggest sports star in Northern Ireland and he regularly sells out arenas which he is headlining. Quigg has been fighting bums on undercards for the last two years and has no drawing power. Simple as that.

Framton needs ppv, the broad cast that framton brings at the minute can't supply ppv, so to make the best purse possible for both fighters there's only 1option.
