shane will be on hbo telling them manny will win bc of a check then on a youtube channel like manny aint smart enough to beat floyd..
I understand that and anyone would be a fool to deny it.
But what does the public's opinion being swayed have to with the outcome of the fight?

So glad Floyd let HBO do half the promoting......cuz Showtime is the Bside to HBO when it comes to promoting
And its like in Showtime promos for the fight....they act like Floyd is fighting himself....LOL. they show Manny for like 2 seconds

I get where you are coming from with a lot of what you are saying especially with how both Lampley and Merchant have devalued the art of boxing and have got the masses to buy into it.
I have been saying that on this site for years. You can see it with the way people complain and how they actually score fights.

You can not like it all you want. I don't have a problem with people not liking it. What I do have a problem with is people acting we all have to like and respect the same things. I don't go along with group think. I like what I like and others can like what they like.
People need to stop trying to tell people what to like. Me personally I like a skilled boxing match over a basic no skilled back alley street brawl with gloves. Guess what I'm not going to tell the next man he shouldn't like a back alley street brawl just cause I favor something over that. That is not my place.
My point is it not Merchant or Lampley's job to try and tell the masses what to like just because they have the platform to get their voices heard.
What they should be doing is complaining about the BS matchups we get more instead trying tell people what personal style they think is great and what is boring.
