Ward has to redeem himself for what? No losses cleaned out a whole division easily beat froch with hurt hand. Only Floyd can make demand grow before a fight? He will eventually fight kovalev or ggg for nice $ so many Ward haters

I think it's important that u recall the facts accurately . Ward never called out GGG or stated he wanted GGG , rather GGG kept telling media people that they was ready for Ward , so when Ward said he'll fight him "in response" , that's when GGG and team changed their tune and started saying that the Ward fight wasn't on their agenda and that they were gonna stay around and clean out their weight class . The way u make it sound is that the heavier bully (Ward) was calling out and picking on the smaller guy (GGG) outside his weight class . Lol , just stop it and remember the facts !

no one has a problem with a tuneup but what they do have a problem with is ward making 8 million against a tuneup and pretending its a huge event when in reality its just a tune up

Ward also wouldn't call out Kovalev or Beterbiev unless he was ready to move up and fight them . That's the difference between him and GGG .

Nobody has ever really complained about a tune up... but what is the general complaint is that he wants to get paid too much for that one tune up.

Ranked number 2 on the majority of P4P lists??? I don't know of ANY P4P lists that Ward is currently ranked on. Kellerman is Ward's buddy. I like Max most of the time but when it comes to Ward, he is more than a little soft headed.

Does he -deserve- one?. That's arguable, but as some other poster said, he'd better not expect to be paid big money for it.

Ward is not hype. He's an elite, technical fighter. Certainly one of the best fighters out there. He is also one of the most self-defeating figures in the sport due to his inactivity. He's on his way to becoming the next Winky Wright.

It's a tough road but as previously stated; he needs to just get out there and fight. 3+ fights a year, get out there and do work. He's mistaken if he thinks he can rest on his laurels at this point. I'm worried that he's mentally arrived to a state of mind that doesn't match up with where his career actually is yet.

Nothing technical about hugging and headbutting your way through fights. Elite, technical fighters have the skillset to move up in weight (James Toney, Floyd Mayweather). Ward ain't going to LHW because he can't hold and push those big boys....he'd be LUCKY to have a career as successful as Winky Wright's.

Please forward me the clip of Hunter saying that they would need couple of tune ups before fighting GGG . I may have missed that one . Why aren't u hard on GGG for not moving up ? At least Ward still has at least one viable opponent left in that weight class (Chavez) . But to the contrary , GGG has absolutely nobody in his weight class left to challenge him .
