    Jealous

You all must have forgot! Going into the super six he was the underdog then cleaned out the division easily! No hand picking like Floyd cleaned out whole division without a close fight. Real fans know a artist.

If Ward has no good wins at 168, who does? In your opinion, who's putting in the work at 168?

Well, it does seem like a certain fighters are avoiding him. Fighters who beg for him to fight overseas (as if location has anything to do with skill), certain fighters who claim anyone from 154 to 168 can get it, but it seems like Ward is the exception.

If we let the public dictate boxing, we are in for a world of hurt.

What, because someone isnt a KO artist, we dont care to watch them?

This isnt MMA, this is Boxing

Ward, although not slick, easily wins fights and for that reason many dont wish to face him.

Boxing needs to step it up and "force" Ward on the public
Pernell Whitaker, not a big puncher, but the public still liked him and knew him

Most boxing fans know Ward and will see his fights, but anytime I talk boxing to other casual fans, they dont know the name Ward, when I tell them that he hasnt lost since he was 12, they are immediately interested

I understand the criticism of Ward and no doubt a lot of it is deserved. After all, the last time Ward was "coming back" he ended up going stealth mode. Still, I don't really see how anyone thinks he could not need a tuneup, especially with 168 being as competitive as it is at the top. I do think, however, that Ward should be quiet about things and just do what he has to do.

Fight a durable fringe contender, get some rounds in, get the win, take less money, take lower level TV coverage and get back to being pound for pound. Nobody cares about your contract drama, they only care if you can still fight.

No he doesn't... because all he's going to do after is take off for another long period of time (again), then he'll need another gimme...f-that.

Is it just me that thinks Ward deserves fûq all? The guy deliberately spoils fights... And fair enough he's doing it to win, but you can't do that then moan when no one is willing to fund your next fight. Does even Ward expect people to pay/tune in to watch him fight Paul Smith?
