Last Friday in Moscow, WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (27-2) retained his title with an unanimous decision victory over his mandatory challenger Youri Kalenga.
Both fighters hit the canvas with Lebedev going down in the fourth and Kalenga in the seventh.
Speaking through his manager Vadim Kornilov, Lebedev said that he was able to shake off the effects of the knockdown and now he wants to turn his attention to a rematch with WBO champion Marco Huck who edged him out with a spilt decision win in 2010. Lebedev said that getting revenge is what interests him most.
