If Geale came in overweight, it would be bad for any future fights he might have been in consideration for. The fight would either be cancelled outright or he would have to pay a portion of his purse as penalty and the title would be taken off of the table. That would most likely allow Cotto another voluntary defense of his title, a loophole that would be to Cotto's great benefit.

Deliberately missing weight would be a very ****** move on Geale's part.
