Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios Pushing To Face Tim Bradley on June 13

Brandon Rios (33-2-1, 24KOs) is pushing to get the opportunity to face former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12KOs) on June 13th, on HBO.

According to Rios' trainer, Robert Garcia, the boxer has already asked his manager Cameron Dunkin to arrange the fight with Bradley.

Rios and Bradley are both promoted by Top Rank. They used to share the same manager until Bradley decided to have wife handle the managerial duties early last year.

Bradley was last seen in December going to a draw with Diego Chaves, and Rios was back in January where he destroyed Mike Alvarado in the third round of their trilogy bout.

The merry go round continues. Might as well do it so rios can fade away into obscurity

I would very much like to see this fight. Pick Bradley to win.

        Loser should rematch Diego Chaves

Bradley would shut out Rios 12-0. It would look more dominant than Pacquiao's win over Rios

            Brook said no?

Seems like they already announced that fight?

Unless he means Brook said no for June?

With Brook already fighting Gavin on May 30th, I thought the talks were that the Brook-Gavin winner would be fighting Rios

^ if that's the case, wouldn't Rios taking an easier fight make more sense?

and any news on Bradley-Porter happening? Last I read 1-2 days ago the IBF was negotiating for an Eliminator between the 2

If Bradley does fight Rios, I hope he uses his skill and box instead of brawling. Rios is definitely the wrong guy to do that against. I think Bradley's career is going to be cut short fighting the style he has of late.He has too much ability and talent for that. Plus, Top Rank is wasting him fighting C level fighters. Haymon has all the major players at 147. Arum is running out of legit opponents for Tim. Its going to force Tim to move up in weight and end up losing to a less talented but bigger fighter.
