Manny hasn't been around nearly that long and he's already fading? His prime only lasted 5 years? Is that what people are claiming? How pathetic. It's clear who used peds!
you cant go by just age - you need to factor wear and tear. How many truly great fights has Floyd been in where he took punishment - really none bc hes a more defensive fighter. Pacs 1st, 2nd and 4th vs JMM and 3 vs Morales were great fights and you pay for those great fights with wear and tear. That's why a fighter like BHOP can go to 50 whereas someone like Fernando Vargas is more prone to peak at 25 and be done by 30

At 38 , losing is not that big of a hit but it will bring in to question whether or not he could have ever beaten Pacquiao.

One thing about the situation now is that Floyd didn't lose in his physical prime. (the risk of the fights he chose is a different story)

Well, if it overshadows anything, then wouldn't that mean it defines his legacy. If something overshadows everything else - it is what defines you/your legacy. Right?

                  very debatable...

majority of boxing fans think he lost to castillo 1 and maidana 1.

More fights, more wars, style that emphasizes athleticism, recent losses....gee, I wonder why people think he is fading.

If Floyd loses now, its a huge deal. Whether he's in his physical prime or not - esp bc he and Pac have both lost a half step. So, no excuses. whoever wins should deservedly get the mantle of best fighter of this generation - the same was SRL got it with wins over Duran, Hearns and Hagler - even if Hagler had lost a half step bf their fight as well
