WANTED: killer instinct missing, reward offered...
Originally posted by BIGPOPPAPUMP View PostManny Pacquiao claims his "killer instinct" and will to win is as strong as ever, rejecting suggestions he is past his prime for the May 2 blockbuster bout with Floyd Mayweather.
The Filipino was speaking in Hollywood at the final news conference he will give before he heads to Las Vegas for the eagerly anticipated welterweight unification showdown with the unbeaten Mayweather, set to be the most lucrative in boxing history.
Boxing fans say the two men are getting it on five years too late, with Pacquiao now 36 and Mayweather two years older, and both showing tentative signs of slowing down in recent fights.

That is like the Straw breaking the camels back.
He supports steroid abuse, and has no idea about divisions/weights/etc.
That ridiculous post, is not the ******est thing that he has said.

If he is going hard in the gym this time around kudos to him because the pacquaio we saw fighting his last three fights wasn't as conditioned as we got used to seeing.
Not sure why Pacquiaos conditioning is not the same, but it sounds a little overly-simplistic to put it down to..... Manny got lazy !
One of Pacs notable qualities has always been his work ethic.

Its the 1200 punches that he threw against Clottey that is missing.

Someone needs to get it out of him.
Look at the fake KD from the Mosley fight; got Pac real mad and KD Mosley who then lost time.
After getting dropped by JMM for the first time; Pac came back with a vengeance and dropped JMM, busting him up until the fatal right hand counter.
Rios, Bradley, Algieri was outclassed and had nothing to bring Pacmonster out.
Just ignore the killer instinct rubbish bro ^^

I think deep down he wants to redeem himself since the JMM knockout loss.
Against Rios, he dominated him but he was very careful not to get caught. Against Bradley, he had to compete at a very high level the whole 12 rounds. The win gave him more confidence.
Against Algieri, he did what needed to be done.
His confidence has grown steadily. It took time for that to come back. He's definitely motivated to fight Floyd..
This killer instinct excuse, is even worse than the leg cramp excuse.

This killer instinct thing is the greatest load of horseshit ever. What's worse is when they try to tie it into Pacquiao's religion, or say it's because of his gentle nature.
Manny's not knocking guys out because they're not giving him the opportunity to knock them out. Since Cotto no one without a granite chin walks towards him any more. Mosley, Bradley, and Marquez in the third fight all got on their bikes.
