it didnt happen in june its going to happen in september or later if you dont like it thats your problem cotto aint fighting GGG for a couple mil when he can fight fight canelo for 10 million +.
If GGG wants a big fight he should go up to 168 and do what the great fighters did instead of complaining that he cant fight anyone at 160.Comment

sure cause cotto in his fourth division is the same as GGG going one division up.Cotto turned pro at 140 and then moved up to 147 and fought all his fights at the full limit there except for the pacquiao fight which pacquiao requested the catchweight.Comment

That is good to hear, to be expected because really where else is either going to go for that level of fight, that is winnable for both sides.
Still it being boxing good to see both sides with their head in the right place.Comment

"HBO, which has Alvarez under exclusive contract -- the Kirkland bout is his first on the deal -- and has been involved with Cotto for much of his career, was not interested in putting on the fight with Geale or any other B-level opponent unless it secured a big-time fight for him for the fall, which it has now done and the reason the network got behind the fight with Geale, which figures to be a solid matchup in its own right."
HBO didn't have to force Cotto to fight Canelo doe.Comment
