Dude wanted to be a diva suing his late promoter begging for someone to take his career to the next level and this is the best they come up with, a guy with 2 straight losses? Its a joke! Wards whole boxing career is turning out to be a joke. He's a good to great fighter no denying that but his career choices and inactivity have really been his Achilles heel..
Mayweather retired of his own volition having just fought Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton in two massive PPV fights.

And anyway he came back and fought a blown up lightweight

Who should Ward fight instead? This should be interesting to hear

This is fine for a tuneup fight. The important thing is that Ward gets active again, once he knocks the rust off you can line up the elite at 168 and he'll mow them all down.

John Smith is OK -- better than Pavlik (whom Ward called out from rehab); or Sartison (whom HBO rejected)...
... John Smith just lost two hard fought fights against the great King Arthur -- who reigns over Wurstlandia.

... I predict a Andre Ward easy stoppage by the way of arm bar.

              Right on. These right here.

By the time Ward is in the ring he will have been absent 19 months.

Smith just went 24 rounds with the WBO champ in his backyard, arguably taking a draw the first fight and actually winning according to many on NSB. Had he have won you guys be like Ward should fight him, the fact he has the losses on his ledger y'all be like its a cherry pick.

Ward is hated on so much it is laughable, watching and listening to all the butthurt fans.

What you talking about man ? Rubio isn't Periban. Rubio gave Chavez Jr. A tough twelve rounds, he's a better opponent than Periban and just as good as Smith, if not better, at least he has an offence, Smith has zero power, albeit better movement than Rubio.

Your opinion sucks, their are plenty of Mexicans who will disagree they want to see Rubio again, so eager to face him was Golovkin he be pretending those Mexicans who came out to see Rubio came out to see him lol.

He has fought only tune-ups for 3½ years now.
