cotto is far from one demensional ...he can box, he cuts off the ring very well, has very good power and good speed also he has a good body attack,he has very good recupative power, and good stamina ...his only weakness (not his chin)which he showed in the corley and torres fights was he fell in love with his power a little too much and got careless...but still the punches torres hit him with would of knocked out alot of guys...corley is not a big puncher but again the punch that he caught cotto with would of rocked any fighter it was a very clean shot to the temple ..people will realize how good cotto is when he beats either hatton or castillo..

an example of a one dimesional fighter is lamon brester and samual peter they can only win a fight one way and that is droping a bomb. Its the only thing they are capable of doing. Neither man has movement a body attack or solid defence. Now take cotto he can punch with either hand to head or body. He can establish a jab and can counter. He has an ok defence and cuts of the ring well and can land with a variety of punches. He can fight going forwards backwards or agienst the ropes inside or outside. Style wise he applies patient pressure in a stalking type of movemnt. All these things = to versitility and the potential to adapt. That makes him a fairly complete fighter skill wise although he does have some flaws as all fighters do. One dimesional fighters have glaring weakness like not haveing the ability to box or be able to move on your feet.

Ok listen guy. Who ever says Cotto is one dimesonal is ******. It's like saying Floyd Mayweather is one dimesonal. It's like saying Jose Luis Castillo is featherfisted! It's ******. so they deserve bad K and you for saying that deserve it also. It's ******. It's absurd! Don't watch boxing if someone thinks Cotto is one dimensonal.

Cotto has shown that he is not one dimensional. His biggest strength besides his power, is his movement.

Paulie thinks that he will "hit and run". But I am here to tell that backstreet boy(paulie) that Cotto cuts the ring off very well, and there are not many boxers that are slick enough to run away from Cotto. You must be slick and powerful, and we all know how much Paulie lacks power.

yeah. its only going to take cotto a couple rounds to cut off the ring and there will be nowhere for paulie to go. IN opinion I think they are putting him against cotto so that he can hurry up and get big fights before his hands give out again

No. It's a ridiculous accusation. Anyone who follows boxing knows better, and Paulie oughta know better than to try that tact.

BK stand up!Us Brooklyn natives gotta stick together on this. I'm a Cotto fan just the same but I can see why some of the haters might see Miguel as one dimensional. He never really gets the chance to show how diverse he is because he keeps knocking them out. I've seen some fights with Cotto where he actually went 12rnds. He showed resilliance and composure as well as ring generalship. If that's not proof of a well rounded fighter then what is? With Malignaggi, I doubt it's gonna take all that. So don't get so mad, Undefeated. There gonna hate no matter what.

                    he aint one dimensional
sometimes lately he seemed to fall into a pattern but that dont make him one d
trinidad became one dimensional but he had more ability just quit using it
cotto will learn from that i think since hes the next trinidad
he could be even better than tito when his career is finished
