Actually they mad cause it's cotto. If there was no catch weight they would be mad at geale as the opponent. He's hated so much that he will continue to be the a side of fights. Even though they hate they will watch. And like mayweather will continue to dictate becuase of it.

Keep in mind the "champion" in question was once a 140lb fighter. Chavez Sr. advised Cotto to fight GGG at 154lbs max. Is Chavez a "coward" for thinking in terms of a middle ground for the smaller Cotto? There are physical limitations here. Cotto can't magically grow to 5'11... He will always be a small 5'7 with limited reach. The real "edge" will belong to Geale come fight night. There is nothing cowardly about an out of prime former 140lb midget, taking on a 6ft MW.
