Only when he ran out of options and was given a 1.5 million purse did he take the fight.
To be fair, he also didn't have to fight Walters, regardless of situations he fought Rigo and Walters. The current 122 cant even seem to fight each other let alone Rigo.

What was his purse? Again....if the moneys right, boxers will fight.

Also no one really knew how good Walters was. He was completely untested much like Rigo was when he fought Donaire. So that context has to also be considered.

Would Donaire take a rematch with either? Doubt it. Unless he was paid handsomely. And ****, I'm a Donaire fan but this ridiculous romantic **** about certain boxers being "man enough" or "having da ballz" to fight is laughable.

Sweet, hope it happens. Quigg badly needs a notable win. I'm not sure he can beat Donaire but at this point if he can't beat a (possibly) shopworn Donaire then he was never destined for the top.

Donaire rocked the **** out of Walters and was doing well for the first few rounds. Quigg doesn't survive that.

What's Quiggs chin like? I don't recall seeing him taking big shots.
If he can withstand some punishment he might cause a surprise.

I distinctly remember him being dropped like a sack of **** by some domestic level fighter. I'm sure he's been on his arse more than once. Frampton has always said that Quigg's chin is his weakness

Honestly, I think Donaire knocks Quigg out.
Why you keep mentioning that is going to be more lucrative is beyond me, if they show the fight in the UK, quigg is going to get pay no matter what, second Rigondeaux would not command the same price tag that nonito will, so on one hand you have the lineal Champ, two times Gold Medalist fighting for less (and stop with the "nobody knows who Rigondeaux is" nonsense, when you make International headlines because you left your country, you are very well known) and on the other hand a washup fighter trying to make a comeback and getting pay a lot more, I'll tell you this, if he fights GR and lose he will be respected and can go on with his career, but if he lose to nonito, that's all she wrote for him...

Oh and that's the be all and end all for all boxers. To be "respected" by some internet nerds. Forget getting paid. 8 dweebs online respect you for about 5 minutes before calling you a "bum" or a "coward"

Quiggs a local lad to me so I want him to me, but Donaire probably KOs him in all honesty.
