Some guys don't know a con-job when they see it and on top of that, they don't understand what demagoguery is or what it means.

Some History:
Celebrities have been championing causes (hunger, Aids, Diseases, homelessness, Radicalism etc...) for decades, SOME, for the sole purpose of keeping themselves in the news, during those dry spells when they weren't getting roles. Now this isn't to state that all celebs are scum, but there are quite a few that use this strategy to add to their popularity.

Now, what is the first sign that someone is guilty of demagoguery for self-serving means?
Ans: Public notification that they're doing it!

Example of sincere people who actually do help others:
Let's look at Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have been helping people for decades, and never once sought out the camera to document what they were doing. Sure, eventually people found out and wrote about it, but this was after the fact. In essence Brad & Angie were doing this because they honestly were sincere about helping people who were less fortunate.


Example of someone who is using worthy causes for self-promotion:
Amere-Con is making publicity stunts of these efforts constantly -- Remember when he gave his boxing trunks to that village (PUBLICITY STUNT!) Then he made another publicity stunt, stating that the criminals who ravaged the village were *********s and they need to be dealt with. (PUBLICITY STUNT!)

Now, he wants to knock-out terrorism ?!?!?!?!?!? (PUBLICITY STUNT!)

What exactly is he going to do?????


That's why I wrote what I did, because if he were genuine and sincere, he wouldn't make all these public announcements ..... He would just do it!!! And wouldn't care if anyone noticed what he was doing.
