I thought Peterson won the first third in boring fashion, the second third was competitive, and the final third was mostly Danny getting beat up.
For me it looked like Peterson won it 8-4 or maybe 7-5.
So make the rematch. I thought it was a pretty good fight overall. If Peterson gets the nod this time, you do the trilogy. Everybody makes dough.

Garcia won because of Peterson's mistake of trying to be fast and flashy first 6 rounds... whilst doing not much else. As I have said before, he won the last 3 or 4 rounds because of stepping up the pressure on Garcia... but didn't win the fight. As for Lamont's little brother... what do you expect from a little brother? I agree Herrera beat Swift. I don't agree Peterson did.
Bring on a rematch at 47. That's the only way to settle this once and for all.Comment

I am not sure where all of the danny clearly wont the first half of the fight, talk comes from.
In an unbiased world, the first half of the fight would have been filled with 10-10 rounds, because neither fighter did enough to decisively win most of those rounds.
People are like "OH BUT DANNY WAS LIKE BEING AGGRESSIVE AND THE BODY." COMPUBOX SAYS THE BODY!"
Everyone with eyes, saw that Peterson was stepping back even from the body shots and Dany was swinging at air. Granted Peterson didn't do anything in return... which is why the bulk of those rounds should have been scored even.Comment

Come on man!! We are not 5 Yr. old children. Public opinion should be more important than what 3 persons dictate. Are those judges the only one who have eyes? In the history of boxing (pro and amateur) there have been a lot of bad decisions and bad referee acting. And although the results have not changed is the public perception which has prevailed and in many cases forced rematches, retired corrupted or biased judges, and even sent some boxers who were robbed into the HOF while some "protected" or fraudulent fighters with fabricated records never made it there. So the opinion of a majority of fans can't be underestimated.Comment
