That pretty much tells the whole story ... Garcia threw more and landed more against a guy who refused to fight for 7 rounds and then turned it up at the end. Peterson had a beautiful game plan and I was amazed at how well he executed it. But going into the 7th or the 8th my card along with the unofficial scorer had it mathematically impossible for Danny to lose unless Pete knocked him down which I didn't think he could.
Danny won... And anyone saying he CLEARLY LOST is clearly an idiot. There was nothing clear or cut and dry about this fight except for the rounds that Pete dominated. He has himself to blame had he turned it up in the 5th he might've walked away with the W but he also would've had to start exchanging earlier with Garcia while he had more in the tank ... Risking a kd or a Ko ..Comment

I feel the same but if it had to to one way I think it's obvious it would have to go Danny's way... Once you score a fight 7 rounds - 1 regardless of what the guy does he can't win. Your score is locked in. No matter how much better he looked in the second half of the fight in comparison to the guy who won the first half...
Pete needed a KD and couldn't get it.Comment

Indeed. And if you watch Peterson's "best" rounds... He was not landing much. A lot of their punches were inches shy of actually landing all night. Peterson failed because he made the mistake of trying to live and pretty much avoiding real exchanges for the first 6 rounds.I feel the same but if it had to to one way I think it's obvious it would have to go Danny's way...
