I picked Heiland because I don't think Geale has earned a shot at the title after being destroyed by GGG. Not to mention that if Geale does beat Cotto, I have no interest is seeing another round of Geale getting his ass kicked by Golovkin.

Maybe Cotto should fight more than once a year and he might have to take someone like Monroe because there will be no one else available. The only thing Cotto has been beating for the past year is his ****. :wank:

Let me guess, 30 ft ring,16oz gloves, headgear, and a 90/10 split?

Dude, bullshít like this is ruining boxing. Don't you boricuas care about that at all?
He's the lineal champ. The best MW in the world shouldn't have to bend over and take it in the ass just to get a shot at the title.

Hell, by 2016 I wouldn't be surprised if Gennady is the A-side. Nobody likes this diva shít.

Could be an interesting topic if discussed with rational adults and not PR fangirls bending and spreading for their idol.

Golovkin will never be the A side to Cotto unlles he beats a Mayweather or a Pacquiao or Cotto himself. Cotto is the closest fighter on his realm that can take him to superstardom that is why Canelo wants to fight Cotto badly because he needs that fight to get over. Golovkin could move up and beat Ward, Froch and Kolaev in one night and he still would be the b side to Cotto. Every figher needs to beat a superstar to become one.

Mayweather and Pacquiao needed De La Hoya. Is like in wrestling. Batista needed to beat Triple H to get over, Brock Lesnar needed The Rock, Stone Cold needed Shawn Michaels. Is the one win that makes you cross over to the masses.

He beat a Shane Mosley who while not a superstar in terms of drawing power on his own was one of the biggest names in boxing because he had defeated Oscar De La Hoya twice and Fernando Vargas who were at the time two of the biggest draws in boxing. Mosley was also still near his prime and was seen as the favorite going in to the fight.
