May take some time to pick up more fans but off to a decent start.

A nascar event last for entire weekend. You got the races, the parties, raves, the drinking and the ladies.

      on tv it sucks

I've gone to one event at the TXMS and the way they party throughout the weekend is intense. Free parking, byob and cheap food has brought in a ton of new fans to their stadiums and to their couches to watch the events on tv.

As far as those numbers go for PBC, good for them. 3 mil compared to maybe 750-900k that they would've gotten on Sho is a big win for them. This second go round was far better than their first, imo
I could see it being fun to attend live. But on tv it seems like a huge bore.

Boxing will never reach the numbers of NASCAR or any major league sport. It is a fringe sport and will remain so. It is nice to have it on free television again but let's not try to make it into something it is not. There was a reason we used to see fighters with advertising for on line casinos on their backs in the past or have people forgotten those days already?
            Nah, just moved to Europe

I have been to five or so Triple Crown horse races, the Preakness. Is going to a NASCAR event like going to the Preakness? What I mean is that I was in the infield at all them horse races and the only horse I ever saw had a police officer on its back.

The next card is Degale vs Direll in Boston.

WTF, no one in the U.S.A. Or Boston give a crap about these guys. If your trying to build an audience, these two sure as heck aren't the guys you headline.

And in Boston none the less.

These numbers are not good. They are actually lower then the last NBC fight and those numbers were not that good to begin with. And the PBC card on CBS was a disaster with a lot of empty seats and on 1mil rating. Obviously advertisers are not impressed by the ratings because once again last night little to no real Comercials Just promos for haymons fighters. Haymon is losing a ton of money each event.

it doesn't work that way. Showtime is subscription based so they don't rely on high ratings or Comercial time. They charge you for the channel. Showtime pays the fights. If showtime got these ratings that would be great. But when you are paying the networks for the air time and you are paying the fighters you need bigger ratings to recoup Millions it costs to put on each event. You can't compare HBO or Showtime ratings the model is different.
