It would be a good back and forth battle for a few rounds, but eventually Danny's chin would finally fail him IMO. It would be an interesting fight though.

I honestly feel the reason Danny is looking sub par these days is because dude needs to move up and stop killing himself with making the weight. If the Garcia who fought Peterson shows up against Maidana then I am going for Maidana. Angel needs to get it together and move his son up.

Garcia showed his lack of inside game last night. The wild singing caveman eats him alive. Maidana will also be at 160lbs on fight night. Garcia's power will be weak at 147.

I actually think Garcia will be stronger at 147.

both guys are tailor made for each other, garcia will be there to hit also. maidana feasts on opponents like this. remember people said the same thing, broner will just stand and counter chino all day doe. how'd that turn out? what we don't know is how well danny will be able to take a punch from a powerful welterweight and how he handles the unorthodox pressure. we'll know when we see it.

I do see Maidana having a bit more tricks up his sleeve though but with
Garcia having a bit better chin. I looked to me like Peterson stung Danny with a few bodshots and we know Maidana can be hurt there. Really a freakin sluggers dream fight and I wouldn't call this one till a day or two before the fight!
