Yes, the ring entrances suck bigtyme. Quilin came out to some soul song and Andy Lee came out to ****in disco music. Boring generic cheesy music

Ultimately, it doesn't matter how tacky/crappy the production broadcast values are; the only thing I really care about are the fights. The fights have to be exciting and competitive. If a fight has those two variables, then it carries itself, it doesn't need any pretty packaging

Everything about the broadcast is terrible.
CBS and spike Tv where leagues ahead of this broadcast.
SRL was so proud of everyone last night and very impressed with there concentration. Thanks for the boxing insight there champ.
Marv Albert is the same as always, trying to overemphasize every blow with his "and it's good" voice.
BJ Flores was really the only half decent thing going for it. And did they get rid of Ali? If so, that's a good move too.

They broadcast on at least an 8 second delay, like all 'live' broadcasts, to give the network time to do their censorship thing. That is the reason the corner mikes go dead sometimes or there is a second of dead air during the commentary. It is the result of some corner man using a word the network censors do not approve of and it is blocked out, along with all other sound. Showtime and HBO have no problems with regular adult language and a bit of profanity.

Aside from the lack of ring girls, it would be nice to see a genuine ring announcer instead of some 'arena announcer' who is never seen. I wonder if the mystery announcer is named 'Carlton'. (old joke for those of us old enough to remember the Rhoda TV show. )

I was so annoyed with the terrible commentary, especially by SRL, that I flipped over to the final NHL game of the season and the Game of Thrones replay on HBO for most of the Garcia-Peterson fight.

Flores needs to replace leonard. on top of being horrible and saying ****** **** he puts me to sleep. When Flores talks he actually has energy and real thoughts.
