I would have been fine with Peterson running if he was actually throwing shots to win rounds, but he had too many rounds where he ran and didn't throw. If he is more aggressive in even one of those rounds, he wins.

Yes, yes and yes. Great defense is useless without at least some offense. Peterson could have stuck Garcia with the jab a dozen times in the opening 3 rounds. I honestly did not understand his strategy while watching him run so much

Just watched the fight. Peterson humiliated Garcia at times and made him look like a one dimensional neanderthal. Garcia literally got bullied around the ring in round 11.

I think Peterson won a close fight, but he made it easy for the judges to give it to Garcia by not throwing any punches the first few rounds.

peterson got robbed plain and simple....his strategy was to box him into the later rounds then apply the pressure down the stretch and thats what he does...pulled a bernard hopkins on Garcia and he nuetralized garcia's dangerous left hook....short of a KO he did all he could to win but the judges and boxing politics always win.

If the reason people say danny deserved the w.is.bc lamont.ran, how exactly did he take.the w? He was.missing wildly and he.never had lamont in any danger. The jab stayed in his face and his counter game was all off track. What part of. the game plan did dannt execute? Looked like a total landslide to me
