so with you it would mean 13:0 for Garcia

Aot of people are picking Garcia slightly which is always 1:0 and not 60:40

Peterson starts too slow, usually losing the early rounds and it's not so much studying his opponent but more lack of confidence. Takes him 3 rounds before he starts pounding his chest and winkin' at his brother in the audience. Peterson can fight no doubt but as someone who usually roots for him (Rooting for Garcia here however) I'm kind of tired of seeing him have to dig himself out of a hole, that's been the story for his career.

I was just looking at my on-line cable guide for tonight's fight and they say that it is for the WBC, WBA and IBF titles. Great way to get people excited and then dash their hopes when they find out there are no titles at stake at all.

Id pick Peterson but... for once I agree with Angel. Once he gets hit he goes back to doing what he does. He did it vs Matthysse. He came out boxing but once he started getting hit that went out the window. And his chin can't handle that. But I have a sneaky feeling he'll be able to handle Garcia's power. As in, not get KTFO.

Danny "Gift" Garcia with another Gift decision. Can these fanboys really defend this as* whooping he received?

I've said it before, I'll say it again:
Garcia doesn't know how to set up his own work. He's a protected fighter, and he's been given gifts over and over.

Totally agree. Looked like an amateur throwing wild punches, off balance and had no way to offset Peterson.

I was puzzled with Farhood card, but I guess he and I saw a different fight. I just couldn't give Garcia this fight, he'll he didn't think he won. He was getting walked down, and Peterson did a helluva job catching and shooting.

I lost a lot of respect for Farhood. Garcia couldn't get anything going. I agree, the catch and shoot was happening all night, and when Lamont wanted to walk "Gift" down--he would. And he was popping Garcia. Even when Lamont was on the bike he was tagging Danny.

I was really disappointed in this outcome. Handing Danny gifts over and over is bad for boxing

This is the first staff prediction article I've read since they all picked Broner over Maidana. I remember thinking: "I thought these guys followed boxing"
They don't, they just write or report it like know-it-all Doug Fischer, who picked Shane Mosely and Canelo Alvarez to beat Floyd Mayweather. Another writer who doesn't know anything is Dan Rafael of ESPN.
