Thank you for the context of the prior post. Was waiting for you to respond.
Yea bringing up fight night weight at 130 is irrelevant. He didn't have to cut weight in the higher divisions so why are we pretending he was the same guy? That has to have an affect on you. What was alarming is that he made this leap in a matter of months and was still a high volume hitter whose punches had the same effect on opponents. And his stamina was just as strong. Su****ious of course when you look at other fighters who did the same.
pac was icing fools at 112-130.
he had one punch ko power at the lower weights.
he didn't at 147.
cotto beat down tko, oscar quit, marg, clottey, mosley went distance.
biggest tell is jmm fights. 4 kds, out on his feet several times 126-130.
1 kd at 147.Comment

Keep going with the "it's the same but different" argument. Then asking others if they're ******. Let's just say, I already know the answer to that question when it comes to you.
I've already responded to the original poster. If you can't comprehend at this point, I won't spell it out for you. And you can claim internet victory because I won't. Lord knows, that's what you're looking for or this convo could've ended pages ago.Comment

lets all help imdazed figure this out.
i'll try again.
the AVG LW is about 145-150 cuts water to 135. adds water back to 145-150 after weigh in.
PAC LW was 145-150 cuts water to 135. adds water back to 145-150.
AVG LW moves up to WW. puts on 10-15 lbs. weigh 155-160 cuts weight to 147.
PAC WW stayed 145-150 just didn't cut weight to make 147.
hence LW PAC was similar to WW PAC.
hence IMDAZED dumb theory of losing speed moving up to WWdoesn't apply.Comment

It is su****ious, like it or not. Doesn't take away from his accomplishments. He tested clean and that's that. So when evaluating his career, I look at it as if he was a clean fighter and won't knock him down a few pegs. But it absolutely was su****ious, particularly how he bludgeoned Cotto. But that's my opinion.
These guys are great fighters doing great things. Fighters in the past have had similar achievements before sports science/PEDs was even a thing.
But it suits your agenda for Pac to be su****ious because you want to downplay his achievements. Simples.Comment

You could use that rational against any of the top guys though. Its su****ious that Floyd looked exactly the same after a two year lay off. It's su****ious that Hopkins is sfill at top level when he is nealry 50. Its su****ious that Wlad still has the speed and movement he had 10 years ago.

this fool still doesn't understand.
after explaining to him years ago to now.
maybe if i put it in floyd terms he'll get it.
floyd is a 150 guy who doesn't cut weight to make 147.
he never bulked up much when moving up.
floyd was able to keep his speed as well.Comment
